Q1. What is the difference between short and long shaft?
Agitator shaft length only. The body, mounting positions and pulley are identical, but the wrong shaft will not fit. Remove the agitator and measure the shaft before ordering.
Q2. How do I measure the shaft length?
Remove the agitator from the gearbox, then measure from the gearbox face to the end of the shaft in millimetres. Do not measure with the gearbox still in the machine, since part of the shaft is hidden.
Q3. Does it fit any Dansat washing machine?
It fits Dansat twin tub machines, but the shaft length must match. Send us the measurement and your machine model number and we will confirm.
Q5. The motor runs but the tub does not turn, has the gearbox failed?
