Chiller Control Board
A chiller control board failure rarely looks like a control board failure. A compressor that won’t start, a fan that ignores its command, a sensor reading that makes no sense, a permissive that won’t make, the symptoms point at the equipment, and teams replace healthy contactors and re-run good wiring for days before anyone opens the control panel.
Cool.sa supplies genuine OEM control boards for chillers operating across Saudi Arabia, stocked inside the Kingdom rather than ordered from overseas. Every part is confirmed against your photos before you order, comes with a VAT invoice, and ships to project sites Kingdom-wide.
Send us a photo of your board on WhatsApp and we’ll identify it.
How to Identify the Right Control Board
- Isolate power to the control panel and apply lockout/tagout.
- Read the full part number printed on the board itself, including any revision marking. Revisions are not always interchangeable even when the base number matches.
- Confirm the board class using the table above. An input board is not a substitute for an output board.
- Rule out the simple causes first connectors, field wiring, the connected device, and supply voltage to the board. If any of those is the fault, a new board changes nothing.
- Record the chiller model and serial number from the nameplate.
- Photograph the board, its part number, its connectors and the nameplate.
- Send us the photos for written confirmation before you raise the order.
Before You Fit Any Control Board
- Wear an ESD wrist strap. A meaningful share of boards reported "dead on arrival" are damaged during handling, not before it.
- Photograph every connection before disconnecting anything. Control boards carry a lot of terminations and the photo is your only reference.
- Check whether output terminals are fed from a separate circuit. They frequently are, and they can remain live after the control supply is isolated.
- Compare the new board against the old one before removal number, revision, connector layout, mounting points. If anything differs, stop.
- Test each channel individually after programming, before returning the machine to service.
Returns on Electronic Components
Control boards are commonly sold non-returnable across this industry, and it's an ordinary condition rather than a hidden catch. We'd rather tell you that before you order than have you discover it in dispute, which is exactly why we confirm every part against your photos first.
Brands We Supply
We source control boards for Trane, York, Carrier and other major chiller platforms operating in the Kingdom. If your unit runs a brand not listed, send us the nameplate, chillers assembled under one brand frequently carry control components from another.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. How do I know which control board I need?
Read the full part number from the board itself, including any revision marking, and confirm the board class using the table above. The chiller model number alone is not enough. Send us photos of the existing board and chiller nameplate, and we'll confirm the correct replacement.
Q2. Does a new control board need programming?
Usually, yes. Most manufacturers specify that control boards must be configured for the specific unit using a service tool after installation, and many boards are supplied unprogrammed. An unconfigured board can appear completely inactive, so plan for the programming step before the replacement arrives.
Q3. My old board has a different part number. Is it superseded?
Very likely. Control board part numbers are regularly superseded, sometimes through several generations. Send us your existing part number, and we'll confirm the current replacement and whether a connector adapter is required.
Q4. How do I tell if the fault is the board or the equipment?
Check the connectors, field wiring, connected device, and supply voltage first. On a multi channel board, if some channels work normally while others do not, this is a strong indication that the board itself may be faulty.
Q5. Are your control boards genuine or aftermarket?
Our control boards are genuine OEM parts supplied in original packaging with factory marking. We do not supply refurbished or copied control boards. Source documentation is available on request.
