The water inlet valve DC62-00266E is the three-outlet solenoid valve controlling water entry into Samsung top load washing machines. It carries three independent solenoid coils, each opening a separate water path on command from the control board: one to the main tub, one to the detergent drawer, and a third depending on the wash programme.
When one of those coils fails, the machine does not necessarily stop working. A single function fails instead: the tub may fill but detergent is never drawn, or the rinse stage works while the wash stage does not. That is why this fault is hard to diagnose, because the symptoms look partial rather than total.
The valve operates at 220 to 240 V, 50/60 Hz, matching the Saudi electrical grid.
